PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A hot air oven is a kind of laboratory equipment which is used to dry samples at various temperature ranges – for example 100°C, 150°C, 200°C and 250°C. A hot air oven is made with an insulated stainless steel chamber with height adjustable shelves. Heat is generated by electric operated heating elements and temperature is controlled by PID temperature controller with PT100 sensor. Hot air is recirculated by motor driven fan. A hot air oven is used in variety of applications such as drying glassware, baking plastic, rubber and electronic materials, dry heat sterilization of surgical instruments and pre-heating and thermal testing etc. In addition, it is also used for moisture elimination from coal and biomass samples and baking of electronic components and packaging items. A hot air oven is used in life science, microbiology laboratory, MLSS and many research based applications. There are various industries, where laboratory hot air circulating ovens are used such as, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food and beverage industries, textile, chemical, paint, adhesive and plastic industries and electronic components and steel manufacturing industries etc.

We are hot air oven manufacturers, suppliers and exporters in India. We make two types of laboratory hot air ovens, bench top models from 23L to 240L and floor standing models from 340L to 1000L or more. Each model comes with up to 200°C temperature but we also make oven with 250°C continuous operation. A large LCD display PID temperature controller is fitted to control the temperature with PT100 (Class A) temperature sensor. An imported fan is used for hot air recirculation to achieve better temperature uniformity across the chamber. Inner chamber is made of mirror finished stainless steel 304 and external cabinet is made of thick gauge of GI sheet which is powder coated and painted. Bench top models feature light weight design and attractive design and compact foot print. A toughened glass window on the door is provided to observe samples during the operation. In addition, floor standing hot air ovens are customizable and made to order and can be loaded with choice of accessories.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Temperature Range: The standard temperature range of a laboratory hot air oven is ambient+10°C to 200°C but it is also available up to 250°C.

Temperature Controller: We equip our hot air oven with an imported and branded PID temperature controller that features in-built timer function up to (9999 minutes) with a large LCD display showing both set value (SV) and process value (PV). The controller ensures precise temperature accuracy throughout the entire cycle. Our hot air ovens use RTD PT100 temperature sensor offering an accuracy of ±0.1°C.

Heating Element: Sheathed Tubular air heaters are considered best for hot air ovens; these heating elements are made with Nichrome 80:20 wire and covered with stainless steel tube.

Air Circulation: To achieve better temperature uniformity across the chamber, recirculation of hot air is mandatory; therefore, we use only branded fan assemblies which are fitted on the rear side or top side of the chamber (as convenient).

Construction: Rugged construction is prime requisite for any hot air oven. Therefore, we use only thick gauge 304 stainless steel sheets that are neatly jointed by arc welding. Inner chamber is mirror finished with rounded corners for easy cleaning. External cabinet is usually made of powder coated GI sheet.

Customization: We understand the requirement for customization; therefore, we offer a number of optional features and accessories with our hot air oven such as toughened glass viewing window, perforated stainless steel shelves, data recording and monitoring device, programmable ramp and soak timer and color touch screen controller, among others.
