A low temperature bath is a laboratory apparatus used to maintain temperatures below ambient levels for experiments, such as chemical reactions (kinetics control), solvent removal (rotary evaporation), or sample storage. These systems typically operate within a range from 0°C down to -190°C, often employing cooling agents like dry ice or liquid nitrogen.
